10 Years in the Making
Opening morning we cut a set of tracks. After getting her direction figured out we took off on a fire road that would intersect her tracks. When she never crossed the fire road we knew she was hung up in some rocks up on the ridge.
We set up and I hammered out a whistle and distress series on the fox pro. After about 30 minutes she came off the ridge to investigate.
After stopping about 30 yards away in some light brush dad let one loose into her front shoulder.
10+ years of hunting cats and we finally had one down.
